Stretch Therapy (FST) is an assisted table-based full body stretching system that focuses on the fascia as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, balance, symmetry, strength and performance. This evolutionary pain-free system focuses on opening up and freeing the joints.

Fascia is a band or sheet of connective tissue fibers, primarily collagen, that forms beneath the skin to attach, stabilize, enclose, and separate muscles and other internal organs. Over time, with poor posture, lack of exercise, stress to the body, trauma, injury, and over training - fascia will thicken, shorten and build up adhesions. This can inhibit your movement, cause tension, pain and instability in your body during your daily activities.

FST targets your inflexible fascia at all layers to become more pliable, symmetrical and hydrated. Your range of motion will increase and your movements and joints will become more fluid.

**PLEASE NOTE THIS TREATMENT IS DONE BY A REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST AND CAN BE BILLED AS MASSAGE THERAPY

1. Treatment produces an inflammatory response. The body responds by increasing metabolic activity around the site of pain. This stimulates and accelerates the healing process (promotes the remodeling of dysfunctional collagenous tissues, such as tendinopathies, trigger points, muscle strains, etc.).
2. Shockwaves break down scar tissue and/or calcification
3. Transmission of pain is diminished through neurologic mechanisms (nociception inhibition)

Cupping is an ancient healing therapy that some people use to ease pain. A provider places cups on your back, stomach, arms, legs or other parts of your body. Inside the cup, a vacuum or suction force pulls skin upward to restrict blood flow for a period of time.

Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin. Your body treats the cupping area like an injury. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process. Some people theorize that cupping clears the pores and releases toxins.
